Privacy Policy
Mktg.Tech (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information when you use the NODE Platform, the TOAD and Agent Action Optics Chrome extensions, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). Because our Services include both browser extensions and a web application, this policy distinguishes the data practices that apply to each.
- We never sell your data or use it to build advertising profiles.
- TOAD and Agent Action Optics only ever look at a page when you actively ask them to — no background browsing history, no keystrokes, no tracking.
- We don’t use your data — including Google user data — to train generalized AI or machine learning models.
- Every Google integration follows Google’s Limited Use requirements (see Section 10).
- You can disconnect Google access, delete your data, or close your account at any time (Section 9).
This summary is for convenience only — the full policy below is what governs.
1. Overview
Our Services consist of:
- TOAD: Page Auditor — a Chrome extension that analyzes the currently active webpage for SEO and technical metadata.
- Agent Action Optics — a Chrome extension that assists users with SEO and marketing workflows.
- NODE Platform — our cloud-based application that provides account management, reporting, and connected Google integrations.
Each product accesses only the information necessary to provide its intended functionality.
2. TOAD Chrome Extension
Data Categories TOAD Handles (Chrome Web Store Disclosure)
- Website content. When you start an audit, TOAD reads the page’s HTML, metadata, structured data, and links. This content is processed locally in your browser, displayed to you, never stored after the audit ends, and never transmitted to our servers or shared with anyone.
- Web history. To display the Redirect Chain, TOAD observes the URL and HTTP status of each redirect hop for the page being audited, only while the audit runs. These URLs are shown to you, are not recorded, and never leave your device. TOAD does not track or store which websites you visit.
- User activity (network monitoring). TOAD listens to network request events in read-only mode for the audited tab only, solely to detect redirects. It does not block or modify requests, does not monitor other tabs, and no request data is stored or transmitted.
- TOAD collects no personally identifiable information, no authentication data, no location, no communications, and nothing in this section is sold, shared, or used for any purpose other than showing you the audit.
What TOAD Accesses
TOAD analyzes only the webpage that you explicitly choose to audit after activating the extension. Depending on the page being analyzed, TOAD may temporarily process:
- HTML source
- Metadata
- Meta tags
- Title tags
- Meta descriptions
- Canonical URLs
- Robots directives
- Structured data (JSON-LD, Microdata, RDFa)
- Schema.org markup
- Headings
- Internal and external links
- Open Graph and social metadata
- Redirect information
- Technical SEO signals
- Accessibility-related metadata
TOAD performs this analysis only after a user-initiated action.
What TOAD Does NOT Collect
TOAD does not:
- collect your browsing history
- monitor websites you visit outside of an active audit
- record mouse movement, clicks, keystrokes, or scrolling
- build advertising profiles
- sell user data
- use webpage content for advertising
- use webpage content to train generalized AI or machine learning models
Storage of TOAD Data
TOAD stores only limited information necessary for extension functionality, such as:
- extension preferences
- locally cached reference data (such as Schema.org definitions)
- temporary audit state
This information is stored locally using Chrome Extension Storage APIs. Website content is processed only for the duration of the requested audit unless you explicitly choose to save audit results within the NODE Platform.
3. Agent Action Optics
Agent Action Optics collects only the information necessary to provide its advertised functionality. Any webpage content or marketing data processed by the extension is accessed only when initiated by the user and solely for delivering the requested features.
Agent Action Optics does not sell user data, create advertising profiles, or use customer data for generalized AI or machine learning model training.
